To the whole community of devotees and friends of Vrinda.
My very dear son Antaranga Prabhu from Peru yatra has recently left this world.
In his heroic travel to his new temple in Iquitos, Sri Antaranga Prabhu left this world, being on a bus that precipitated down a precipice of one hundred metres into a river.
His kirtans of joy and ecstacy are in before my eyes while my heart feels the extreme pain of having lost, on a visible level, this devotee who was so brave, who wanted to preach in the deepest jungle of Iquitos with his dear wife Madhurya and his son.
He was always a very enthusiastic devotee, determined, and I hoped that people like him would continue and go forward later with my mission. Well, our Lord controls everything and I have no right to complain of Him. Yet it is difficult to understand His infinite plan. Most sure is the He needed such a special devotee as Antaranga in SOME OTHER MISSION MORE URGENT.
I can only offer my affections to all his friends, brothers and sisters and his family. All of them have been part of my family, or rather, I also feel part of the family of Jivanuga prabhu, his good father.
So it is, destiny put it like this. As we all have to leave this world one day, we already know now that there is one more pure devotee, there in the spiritual world, who without faults could give a nice recommendation for all of us who knew him.
Sri Antaranga Prabhu became a devotee in 1996, only 17 years old. His life was filled with kirtan, yes, his kirtans were incredible. Everyone knows how he was. A jewel among the devotees all these years. Now, at the age of 24 year, he left us as a good example of a Vaisnava preacher, always ecstatic since he came. The only bad thing he did, was maybe to brake many mrdangas, but in ecstacy. He did not belong to the mediocre world. Thus I am quite sure that he always was a very special devotee, and this reassures me.
Sri Antaranga Prabhu Ki jay!
Always your servant,
Swami B.A.Paramadvaiti
