My dear family, Please accept my blessings.

Today I heard that they had killed my dear spiritual daughter Chintamani devi. She was the dear daughter of Hrishikesh prabhu and mother Bhumi devi, two devotees from Cali, Colombia. It is less than one year since this nice devotee seeked me out to get initiated in the family of my spiritual master.

It was on her own initiative, and it made me very happy to see how she, who was so young, was so clear about what she wanted. I gave her initiation in Nueva Govadhana, and I felt happy in company of her family. Now I have to learn to live in this miserable world without her; a world of envy, where a little girl gets killed on her way home from school, because some people want to rob her.

My Lord Krishna, You know what You are doing, and I don’t ever want to doubt of Your good intentions. It is just too big for my little brain to understand this. Chintamani lived in a poor block in Cali, in the farm of her parents, and she wanted to serve You with eagerness. You took this light from the world, so that she could serve You better, closer to You. You leave us sad and surprised, since You show us that this world is a place of danger at each step, a mad place and nothing to get attached to. You took to Your eternal world, what could not stay here defiled by the egotism of the abusive Kali yuga mentality. What will be waiting those who have done such a thing? Even we, who try to serve you, feel punished by the absence of Your dear devotee.

I remember her with the hope that her enthusiasm would reach many people with the sweet message of love. Love without limits, but here in this world we notice too little of this love. A lot of betrayal, children who attack their own parents and vice versa. What is most rarely existing, is examples of devotion. If it were not for Your pure devotees, we could not even believe in this great eternal love. Every day we hear about death, but rarely it comes to us so close and irrational. All I can do is praying that Your love may invade my existence and hoping that something of it can be distributed through our short life.

Chintamani will continue in our life as a clear example that nothing belongs to us in this world. That nothing here is absolute. That drugs make people demons and crazy. That only the spiritual world is an acceptable destination.

It is very painful to have come to this world, where there is neither piety nor compassion. It must be due to a real bad past that one had to come here to pay one’s reactions. May Krishna help us not to leave our existence in the shadow of His protection.

Chintamani ki jay! I hope to see you there with Krishna as soon as our Lord makes the arrangement.
