All Glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga

Dear devotees, matajis and Krishna's friends, Please, accept my obeisances!

A general happy feeling is living at this moment in Peru yatra due to one of the most important news all over the world for the VRINDA mission. A fact, which is waiting for many years and where were performed sacrifices, constancy and devotion of hundreds of devotees: The opening of the Great Vedic Planetarium - a unique work, which was generated from the whole world. A dream of Srila Prabhupada, which becomes true, thanks to the love and devotion of his dear disciple - Srila Bhakti Aloka Paramadvaiti Swami Maharaja.

Our dear Guru Maharaja has given his blessings from Sri Vrindavan to inaugurate this fantastic work in year 2003 and from now on the hearts of the devotees are eager to contribute their ideas for the work plan, which will last until 26 of September - the date on which the planetarium will be officially inaugurated. For this reason, the yatra has been summoned to a general meeting on the day of Gourapurnima, taking the advantage of the general meeting of the devotees. On this date we are going altogether to define the work plan for the planetarium.

In fact, there are a lot of things to discuss as financing, a group of artists who will decorate the Trulys with their symbols, a group of volunteers for the Trulys, a group for the press and communications - some of the most important.

To recall some facts, the original idea for the planetarium comes from Srila Prabhupada. His dream was to have a temple and at the same time a planetarium where to teach the Vedic cosmology. When Srila Prabhupada left this world, he gave an order to his disciples to realize this work with the hope that they will accept the guidance of Srila Sridhara Maharaja.

So, because of this fact in 1996 and inspired also by Sri Brihat Bhagavatamrta (where is told the trip of Gopa Kumar all over the spiritual planets until reaching the Supreme dwelling "Sri Vrindavan"), Guru Maharaja conceived the final idea to build the scheme of the planetarium and the temple.

Each construction teaches us the corresponding level from the Vedic knowledge in a very detailed way of the beautiful art decorations of every Truly. The final result is a walk, which turns into the most pleasant education of the Vedic cosmology with its spiritual platform.

This entire plan was forced when mother Gangamata Devi Dasi, a professional architect, made roughly the shapes of the plan of the project, which was originally drawn by Guru Maharaja.

Guru Maharaja was happy to see, that it was possible to build such buildings and he planned together with the devotees the construction of the planetarium under the supervision of Sriman Prapanna Prabhu, mother Gangamata and Prabhu Jivanuga. In this way it was decided to construct the planetarium in three phases: the first one with inauguration of the altar, the highest (15 m high) dome in the world made from mud and the present altar of Istadeva of the yatra - Sri Sri Guru Gouranga Radha Damodhar.

This first phase was inaugurated in 1999 in the mela of Peru - one of the best celebrations remembered in the history of the mission. The second phase includes the building of seven more Trulys, which form a semicircle of 300 square metres. They were inaugurated in the Mela 2002 with kirtan and fire ceremony.

So, the third and the final phase, which is the most elaborated because of the many Vedic iconographies, yantras and sculptures, which should be made, is going to be inaugurated in September with 3 days celebration before the Mela in Ecuador and the Vyasapuja of Guru Maharaja.

The plan till now is the following:

Friday 26 of September in Lima: Festival for the inauguration of the farm in the city Saturday 27 and Sunday 28: Celebration of the inauguration of the Great Vedic Planetarium in the Eco Truly Ashram.

Based on this event will be organized a press conference with the mass media for publications and in order to inform the city for this great event.

As you could imagine, at present moment the Peru yatra is making a marathon because the time is short. Ambarish Prabhu - the art director of the trulys said that if he starts now he should make 3 sculptures per day because Guru Maharaja has made impressive artistic emphasis for every one of the Trulys. Each Truly represents a planet of the spiritual universe and each one of the Trulys exhibits different arts, describing the characteristics of every spiritual level.

BV Tapasvi maharaja, BV Akinchana Maharaja, Sriman Prapanna Prabhu, Sriman Paragatih Prabhu and Sriman Gouravatar prabhu have summoned to this meeting with the aim to engage the devotees with this commitment in order to satisfy Guru Maharaja.

So, beloved devotees, everybody is invited to this super maha marathon for finishing the third and the final phase of this beautiful work of love, made in mud.

This is a warm invitation to the heart of all the devotees and friends who will participate in some way in this marathon. During the days of the festival there will be a celebrating atmosphere in the Peru yatra and we would like to see the happy faces of the whole Vrinda family from Peru (and if it is possible of the world) together at the dwelling of Sri Sri Radha Damohar.

Simultaneously we are preparing our hearts for the Mela and the Vyasapuja of Guru Maharaja in Equador!
