Damaging and harmful professions

Many human activities are wrongly called "professions", I am saying this because, instead of bringing benefit, they are damaging the community.

Many human activities are wrongly called "professions", I am saying this because, instead of bringing benefit, they are damaging the community. We can find out examples of this in our daily life: the abortive medicine, the arms running, the legal or illegal selling of drugs, the forestry experts who support the indiscriminate cutting down of trees that causes havoc in the forest, the scientists who make genetic experiments, etc.

To do this kind of work only generates sadness and anguish, because the existence of each man, woman, child or aged person is a living offering in order to discover the Universal Love, based on principles of respect and spirituality.

The loving service towards all the living beings is an intrinsic characteristic of the human beings; for example: motherhood, education on values, care of animals, concern about nature, etc., are qualities which show the level of advance in a particular society. We never achieve peace if we live tormented by fear. A harmful profession does not generate happiness nor welfare, it only transmits violence and fear.

This is a calling to reason, in order to remove together those clouds which cover our ideals. It is distressing to see how the power and money ambitions are ruling the society, causing death of unborn children, destroying families or inventing wars.

Any activity which harms or damages others, it moves away from love, for this reason we should fight in order to appreciate to all the living beings in the creation. To finish, I want to share with you this simple phrase which can be understood as the key to the success: “Simple living, high thinking”. Every time that oblivion surrounds us, meditate in that sentence.
