...construction of the Krishna Lila Park, restoration of Bhama Kunda, producing new material for "la Casa de Sabiduría", or "the House of Wisdom", revealing in his classes the new book "Sato Vritteh", writing new documents regarding Yoga Inbound School, revealing information about the master plan and the book of the mission with Prakasananda prabhu, learning Hindi with Nanda dulal prabhu in the nights or attending his mail at midnight, finishing the CD of the WVA with Gourkesava prabhu, helping Bodhayan Maharaj with the murti of Srila B.P. Puri Maharaj, directing the construction of the cupola of the altar in Vrinda Kunja with Paramahamsa Maharaj, supervising the security arrangement at Vamsi Kunja with Sridhara Maharaj, studying and investing biographic material of his spiritual masters or attending visits and invitations of friends ad spiritual brothers, etc.
At the same time, Guru Maharaj has time to attend questions and anxieties of everybody here, make jokes at times or invite us to take prasadam with him and share new ideas about the preaching.
After a lot of austerities from our part, Gourkesava prabhu finally invited us to a pizza party at Yamuna Kunja. Guru Maharaj was very pleased with offering and we enjoyed very much his invitation. I cannot avoid telling about the prasadam and glorify the devotees when they make such delicious preparations, like two days ago when Nanda dulal prabhu made a party of arepas with chips. Madre Rupa Manjari and madre Gouri make miracles in the kitchen to please Guru Maharaj.
At Yamuna Kunja, Guru Maharaj shared with us his reflections about the preaching:
"A devotee should be prepared to use all available means for the preaching. The majority still do not know that we have a big potential. For instance, till today nobody has taken it serious to inform, in the end of the classes, about our Vrinda News Service by e-mail and collect the e-mail addresses of everyone to subscribe. The majority of devotees do not bother with this, they are more worried about the chapatis for the next day or if they are going to marry and with whom. It is laziness in general that puts a check on the development of the preaching. This is so real that some times the devotees do not even know where their spiritual master is. This should be like to know where one's wife is. Imagine that I ask somebody: "Where is your wife?" And he answers me: "Hmmm. I don't know, but she might be there". It cannot be like that. So, every disciple ought to know where his spiritual master is, and which are the news of his preaching. I ask all devotee leaders that at least once a week come together with all the internal and external devotees, and study the last news of your spiritual master, the chats, the Vrinda News, the new means of the preaching, etc.
Another example is that I have asked the devotees to prepare the new aspirants for the initiation with classes in the Vaishnava Academy and with my letter that I have written in the matter, but few of them has taken it seriously and still I receive new devotees who approach and do not know anything about anything. I know that all this material that we are preparing now, will have a great impact still many more years or when something happens like someone's death, but it is my duty from now to inspire them to take more responsibility and this should be the feeling of all the leaders in my mission, the leaders should help me to make this possible. We have so many nice projects, like the Vaishnava Academy, the Yoga Inbound Tours, spiritual retreats, ecological projects, the House of Wisdom, Internet preaching, etc., and for all of this we need a lot of help from everybody and a systematic work. It is not the first time that I talk about this, but I think that still will I have to repeat it many more times, and so perhaps they might listen to me".
Guru Maharaj also talked about the new couples:
"Nowadays almost nobody writes to me to ask for the hand of my daughters. I only get the happy news that I will be grandfather or the sad news that you are already fighting. What's happening? Why can't you wait a little? How can you expect many blessings in your life, without the blessings from your father? Another thing is that I always have asked you, that if you want to associate with one of my daughters, you should first both of you, write to me so that I can consider your request by hand, and give my answer. Well, what begins badly, will badly end, unless they don not set it right on the way. But without a formal fire ceremony, it is very difficult that later many blessings will come when you need them. And the life of a grihasta is not a game. Sometimes the insolent parents are more preoccupied with their own feelings and experiences, than with how their children feel about the immaturity of their parents. Therefore I ask you please that you include me at the moment you decide to start a family, and not when you decide to end it".
The electricity just finished and the battery of Guru Maharaj's computer does not work well.
