Weeks before this holiday in Peru the most famous TV network of the city made a reportage about the devotees in the farm in which they presented the details of the whole project - the ecological constructions, the organic orchards, the Vedic planetarium and the spiritual life which is practised in the Ashram.

This reportage had the aim to create some expectations for the people of Lima and furthermore it put us in front of the eyes of all the Peru country and the ecotourism offices that started to receive calls and confirmations for attendance.

When the bus approached the place the tourists showed their astonishment leaving aside their gluten hamburgers in front of its imposing beauty, the natural and beautiful constructions, the residential place of Sri Sri Gouranga Radha Damodara and the site of the encountered Vaishnavas who today made arrangements to receive the visitors in the way only devotees can make.

After people were accommodated in the comfortable rooms the spiritual retirement activities started with one tour in which the benefits of the natural conscientious life had been explained. There were a lot of questions and instructive answers from the prepared devotees.

The events in all the schedules of the day had been programmed. There were classes of hatha yoga, karma and reincarnation given by Sriman Pariksit Prabhu who explained this topic with real cases about regressions to past lifes. Additionally, workshops on the Vaishnava philosofy had been organized, introduction of the system Inbound yoga and workshops on tai-chi and Vedic astrology.

One of the most special moments was the adoration in the main temple where the visitors could have darshan of the deities and could hear the bhajan of the devotees. In the night on the same day, Thursday, an artistic exhibition of typical Indian dance took place and the group of "the instantaneous theater "El harmonista" presented the play: "Who love the truth?" performed by B.V. Tapasvi Maharajá and Mukunda Vilas prabhu. The play was successful and the audience was very pleased with the transmitted message. As a close of the activities of the day B.V. Akinchana Maharajá performed an agni hotra explaining in a simple and clear way the significance of the ceremony. People participated with glad and all together recited the different mantras, finished with ecstatic kirtan.

On Friday evening all the spiritual retirement group participated in the class of vegetarian cuisine held by the main cook of the Eco Truly Ashram, mother Vitravinda d.d., who made the people fascinated with her delicious preparations.

After we continued with an interesting and pleasant workshop of art and painting leaded by Ambarish Prabhu. This had the aim the participants to contemplate the nature and to shape their feelings and impressions into a painting or a drawing. The most dynamic and entertaining parts of the day were that the participants saw with great astonishment that they were able to make nice drawings and this made them very happy. After that all the group went to the culture field and Sriman Gouridas Pandit introduced to the friends the general conception of the organic orchard and the conception of agriculture with as less chemistries and pesticides as it is possible. And to make it more pleasant he taught people how to harvest different vegetables in the same farm. The faces of the people were shining of happiness while they were harvesting the products of the culture field.

Such happy day could only end with even more happiness; the moment of the maha vegetarian banquet came. After such exquisite celebration the leave-taking was a confirmation for the friendship and the affection with the visitors.

They didn't get tired to thank the devotees and matajis for the opportunity to have a week away from the noise and smoke and close together to each other.

Goura Hari boll!!!
