This year, on May 19-23, the 7th South American mela will take place in Peru. This will be the big inauguration of the Vedic planetary on Eco Truly Park. At this mela there will also be the 108 years celebration of Srila Prabhupada's birthday, and also 20 years of the Vrinda mission.

For this mela and the Eco Truly project, a folder has been made as information and invitation for all devotees and friends around the world. Guru Maharaj presented this on the Sunday chat last week. He also informed that in Latin America the mega size melas will take place only each 4 years or when there is some extraordinary event. This because the grand melas takes a lot of energy, and it is impossible for many devotees to go due to the cost and the distances. For the rest there will be an annual big mela in the north, in the middle and in the south of the continent, which will make it possible for the local devotees to participate. This is the idea; to make the gifts of Srila Prabhupada accessible for all the world.

The eco Truly Ashram and Eco truly Park

Leaving the city of Lima on the Pan-American Highway going north, we wind through the curved ocean road called Pasamayo. The contrast created by the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean and the endless sand dunes on the other side. After a journey of one hour you reach a real oasis: The Eco Truly Park.

From high above the fertile valley on the road you see the constructions, which have no equal to them, surrounded by the greenery of this valley. The eco truly Park is situated right on the beach surrounded by huge caves, high ocean waves, cliffs and sand dunes. The Eco Truly Park celebrates the beauty of the beaches of Peru. Here we offer to our visitors a great variety of experiences. Our organic garden is maintained as a priority and the visitors can receive courses how to cultivate the land with out chemicals, which would damage the health of mother earth.

Our department of environmental healing offers information on solar energy, wind energy, earthworms to produce humus, composting and eco mud construction. From the domes of the yoga planetarium to the residences and the areas for the children entertainment, the trulys or mud domes transmit a special energy of peace and strength to all visitors. They represent the natural line of energy distribution of Mother Nature and create spaces, which are perfect for meditation and for communicating with others.

Inside this park is the Place of the Inbound school of Yoga, where you can withdraw from the agitated city life and get an experience of profound realisation, recover you spiritual self estimation, and free yourself from the anxieties created by the consumer society, through meditation and the study of Vedic wisdom under the guidance of our experienced instructors.
